Then you might be interested in joining the KANON clinical trial for a non-invasive therapeutic treatment which can be used to improve lung function in children with asthma.

Through this website, you can discover what KANON (Kinetically Activated Nerve Organ Normalization) clinical trial involves and if your child can participate in the program.

WHY IS THIS STUDY IMPORTANT FOR CHILDREN?

According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NIH), “Nearly one in every 10 children under the age of 18 has asthma, making it one of the leading chronic childhood diseases in the United States, and a major cause of childhood disability and school absenteeism. Asthma can limit a child’s ability to play, learn, and sleep – all critical to his or her development.” Yet medicines, devices and treatments designed to treat asthma are not often tested in children. The NIH further states, “in nearly half of medical visits, children are given a medicine, and 70% of those medicines have only been tested in adults.”

KANON therapy has been found to successfully reduce the need for medication in adults and in some cases, eliminated the symptoms of asthma entirely. Documenting the known effectiveness of this non-invasive treatment is an important step toward revealing a better and safer standard of care for children suffering from the effects of asthma.
